How do I set up pass marks?

Mark Allocation Field

• Required for every question.
• Must be a number > 0.
• Defines how many marks the question is worth.

Passing Percentage

• Enter a value between 0 and 100.
• This sets the percentage learners must reach (or exceed) to pass.

Pass/Fail Calculation

1. Add the total possible marks for all questions (TW).
2. Add the total marks achieved by the user (TC).
3. Use the formula:

(TC ÷ TW) × 100

Example:

• Total possible marks (TW) = 9
• User achieved (TC) = 7.6

(7.6 ÷ 9) × 100 = 84.4%

• If 84.4% > Passing Percentage → Pass ✅
• Otherwise → Fail ❌
