Open the Excursions module via the side navigation panel.
Navigate to Settings → Risk Columns.
Click Add Risk Column.
Enter a name for the risk column (e.g. Risk Owner, Risk Mitigation).
Select a field type from the dropdown:
Textbox - One short typed response.
Textarea - One long typed response.
Dropdown - One predefined option.
Multiple Select Dropdown - Multiple predefined options.
Multiple Free Text - Several typed custom responses.
Toggle the following options as required:
Required – makes the field mandatory.
Required for Final Submission – ensures the field must be completed before the excursion can be submitted.
Show in Excursion – displays the column in the risk assessments table.
Click Save.
The new risk column will appear in the Risk Columns table under Excursion Risk Settings.
Note: Adjustments to risk assessment settings will only apply to new excursions.
