Linking Activity Types to Risks

You can link risks not only to Excursion Types but also to Activity Types. This ensures risks only appear in excursion creation when both conditions are met.

Link Activity Types to Excursion Types

  1. Go to Settings ➡ Excursion Types.

  2. Add or edit an Excursion Type.

  3. Use the Activity Types dropdown to link one or more activity types.

Create or Edit a Risk

  1. Navigate to Risk Settings ➡ Risks tab.

  2. Either:

    • Edit an existing risk (click the green edit pencil), or

    • Click Add Risk to create a new one.

Select an Activity Type

  1. In the Add/Edit Risk popup, choose the relevant Excursion Type.

  2. If that Excursion Type has Activity Types linked, an Activity Type dropdown will appear.

  3. Select the Activity Type to associate it with the risk.

How it Works in Excursions

  • A risk linked to both an Excursion Type and an Activity Type will only display during excursion creation if both are selected.

⚠️ Tip
If the Activity Type dropdown does not appear, check that at least one Activity Type has been linked to the selected Excursion Type.
