Excursion types define the high-level categories of excursions.
Navigate to Settings → Excursion Types.
To add a new Excursion Type:
Click Add Excursion Type.
Enter a Code (system reference).
Enter a Name (e.g. Excursion, Overseas Excursion).
Link one or more Activity Types.
Click Save.
To edit an Excursion Type, click the green Edit icon in the table.
To delete an Excursion Type, click the red Delete icon. (Note: an Excursion Type cannot be deleted if it is currently in use.)
What are Excursion Types linked to?
Activity Types – defines the specific activities under each excursion type.
Roles – sets which staff or groups are notified.
Checklists – links the steps staff must follow.
Risks – determines which risks apply at excursion level.
Excursion Form Section Fields – defines what fields appear in the excursion form.
