What are Excursion Types?

Excursion Types aren't just a way to categorise an Excursion - they play an important role in how excursions are managed:

• All risks are linked to excursion types, and this determines which risks flow through into the Risk Assessment tab.
• The questions staff complete during the excursion submission process are driven by the selected excursion type.
• Staff-to-student ratios can be set and enforced by excursion type.

Paperly comes preloaded with a set of standard excursion types:

• Co-curricular

• Event

• Excursion

• Incursion

• Interstate Excursion

• Overseas Excursion

All excursion types can be edited or deleted, and you can also add your own to match your school’s needs.
